Touchless Golf Procedures

We at Tangle Creek are as excited as you are to get outdoors again and play the game we all love. To that end, we have given careful consideration to new policies that will ensure the health and safety of our members, guests and employees. We must follow the recommendations created by Health Canada, municipal, provincial and federal governments. These policies will change the experience you are used to at Tangle Creek, but we are confident that we will still provide a world class golfing experience. We ask for your support and patience during these operational changes.

The first and most important regulation is: If you have a fever, feel sick or have been around someone that has been diagnosed with Covid 19, we kindly ask you not to visit our club.

Touchless Tee Time Booking Policy & Procedure

• Booking “ONLINE” is the fastest and easiest way to secure your tee times. Visit our website at to book today!

• Tee times can be reserved 30 days in advance for members and 14 days in advance for public players. All four players names are required upon booking.

• All players are responsible to ensure they complete a self Covid-19 assessment prior to arrival. Click on the link below to review Simcoe Muskoka Health Self Assessment Guidelines

• All tee times must be “PRE-PAID”. Full refunds will be issued if tee times are cancelled or adjusted 48 hours in advance. Rain checks will be issued if tee times cancelled or adjusted 24 hours in advance. No refund or rain check will be issued if tee times are cancelled or adjusted the day of.

• Additional products can be pre purchased “ONLINE” such as golf shop items and food and beverage.

• VIP pass holders or pre paid ticket holders can “ONLY” book through the telephone. Refunds will “NOT” be issued to players paying online for regular tee times but wanted to redeem their passes or VIP packages the day of play. Please call the club at 705-720-2150.

• All players must reserve a tee time prior to arrival. WALK ON golfers will not be accepted.

Touchless Arrival & Pre Golf Procedure

• Only arrive “30 minutes” prior to your tee time. Guests arriving earlier will be asked to stay in their vehicles.

• All players “MUST” check in with the greeter. (Please follow directional signs)

• All particulars pertaining to your tee time will be confirmed at this point.

• Access to facilities will be limited and a facemask is required when entering all buildings on property.

• Golf carts will be issued “10 minutes” prior to your tee time if required.

• A full cart rental fee will be required for those who request an individual cart.

• The practice facility is set up for your convenience.

• Please only allow “10 minutes” maximum to warmup.

• Players are expected to arrive at the first tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.

• Food & Beverage purchases and golf product purchases can be made at the halfway house prior to play or order online at at anytime throughout your day.

On Course Experience

• Play ready golf. Please fix and repair all divot and ball marks.

• Please keep up with the group in front of you.

• Practice social distancing throughout your round.

• Do not remove flag poles.

• Create a preferred lie in all bunkers.

• Carts are required to stay on the fairway at all times.

• Carts can only enter the fairway after the black post and exit before the black post.

• Utilize the on-cart GPS for scoring, to order food and beverage and to communicate to the golf shop.

• Washrooms are located at the back side of #7 green, #17 tee deck and the halfway house.

• On course food & beverage service will be provided at the halfway house, beverage cart and curbside pick up by calling 705-716-5328

• In a rush, but you're hungry? Pre order your after-round food & beverage on #18 tee

• Most importantly ENJOY YOUR ROUND!

After Your Round Experience

• Proceed to the parking lot to unload your golf bags and belongings. Return golf cart to designated drop off area.

• The patio and restaurant may be available at limited capacity for after your round dining depending on colour coded zone at that time.

• Check out our menu online at or scan the QR code located on the tables.

Golf Cart Policy

• All carts are thoroughly inspected prior to the round.

• The cart will be inspected after the round for damages. The driver of the cart will be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the round.

Rain Check Policy

• For the latest golf weather reports logon to Rain checks will not be issued to players starting in the rain.

• Rain checks will be issued based on the green fee rate purchased.

• A prorated dollar amount will be issued and can be applied to your next round.

• No rain check will be issued after completing 14 holes.

VIP Passholders Booking Procedure

• VIP pass holders can book up to 2 weeks in advance. VIP passes are valid anytime Monday To Thursday & in April & October.

• VIP passes are only valid after 11:00 on Saturday, Sundays & Holidays.

• All VIP pass holders can “ONLY” book tee times by phone.

• We will require your full name, email address, phone number, package serial number, promotion be redeemed (i.e., free green fees, 2 for 1 coupon) and credit card number to secure your tee time.

• All tee time bookings must be pre-paid. “NO EXCEPTIONS

• If individual payment is required all players “MUST” call 24 hours prior to the reserved tee time. (We highly recommend taking advantage of “E-TRANSFERS” between players in your group).

• Full refunds will be issued if tee times are cancelled or adjusted 48 hours in advance. Rain checks will be issued if tee times are cancelled or adjusted 24 hours in advance. No refund or rain check will be issued if tee times are cancelled or adjusted the day of.

Member Booking Policy & Procedure

• As a TC member you have the privilege of booking up to 30 days in advance. Please bookmark the link below in your internet browser:

• Online booking is the fastest and most efficient way to book tee times. The club regularly encounters high call volumes and unfortunately not all calls are answered immediately.

• Standing member tee times can be reserved on a first come first serve basis and only under the discretion of the golf shop.

• All member names are required at time of booking.

• Use your TANG member code to ensure you're utilizing the proper member profiles when reserving online.

• All member tee times must be cancelled or adjusted 48 hours in advance.

• Members choosing not to abide by this rule will be charged a “NO SHOW” rate of $50 and their booking privileges will be revoked.

• The “NO SHOW” fee will be applied to the member reserving the tee time.

• The 40% off member guest fees only apply to regular green fee rates and don’t include the cart fee.

• You must call in if you are taking advantage of an off-time member preferred rate.
