Who: Male and female golfers 50+
When: Every Monday Morning, Late April - Early October. *On Holiday/Long Weekends the League moves to Tuesday mornings.
Start Times and Pairings: Tee times starting at 8:00 am. Members must sign-up a week in advance to be included on the tee sheet for Monday. The pairings are completed and e-mailed to members no later than Friday of each week. Pairings are done randomly as the purpose of the league is to meet, and play with, other senior members of the club.
League Format: Golf Genius is used for points based on a basic stableford point system.
Tees: Ladies play from the White Tees and Men play from the Black Tees. Golfers who are 70 years and older may play from the Hybrid set of tees.
Guests Days: Three times a season we sponsor Guest Days.
Weekly Fee: A weekly fee is collected from all participants and is used for weekly prizes such as skins and gross and net scores. Other weekly prizes include on course competitions such as closest to the pin, circle hole, long drives, long putts, etc. All Prize Money is returned to golfers the following Monday.
Scoring and Handicap: Scoring for the League is based on 18 holes. All scorecards must be returned to the Pro Shop immediately after the game in order to be included for daily prizes. A summary of scores and prize winners is e-mailed to all members no later than one day after the round of golf has been played. Golf Genius will show points for teams, individuals and payouts.
Meals: After the round, all members are encouraged to visit the patio or lounge to enjoy a meal, a beverage and the camaraderie. (Subject to government regulations in place at the time)
